There are plenty of apps that promise to turn spare time on your phone into extra money.
Pocket Money: Rewards Everyday is one of the bigger names in this space.
The current Google Play listing shows 10M+ downloads, 376K reviews, and a 4.2-star rating. Pocket Money’s own website says it has more than 10 million users, while its Google Play description says that over 10 million users have availed themselves of rewards.
That sounds impressive. But a large user base doesn’t automatically answer the question that matters most:
Does Pocket Money actually pay, and is it worth your time?
The app says users can earn rewards by exploring offers, completing tasks, watching videos, playing games, taking surveys, and referring friends. Pocket Money’s official website also says rewards can be redeemed through its authorized payout partner, Cashfree, using a UPI ID.
There are plenty of positive reviews, but there are also recent reports of missing rewards, withdrawal problems, and technical issues.
So let’s look at the evidence.
What Is Pocket Money: Rewards Everyday?
Pocket Money: Rewards Everyday is an Android rewards app listed on Google Play as Pocket Money by Santa Browser.
Google Play currently shows 10M+ downloads, around 376K reviews, a 4.2-star rating, an Everyone content rating, and advertisements. The listing says the app was updated on April 24, 2026.
The app’s basic model is simple.
You complete activities inside Pocket Money and receive rewards. Those rewards can then be used or redeemed according to the options available to you.
According to the current Google Play listing, users can:
- Explore offers
- Complete specific tasks
- Browse offer walls
- Watch Pocket Videos
- Play Tambola
- Complete surveys and other tasks
- Refer friends and family
The listing also says rewards can be used for things such as cab rides, movie tickets, shopping, food orders, music, and train tickets.
Pocket Money therefore sits firmly in the rewards app / beer-money category.
It’s not a conventional employer, freelance marketplace, or gig platform.
For a broader list of this type of opportunity, see our Best Beer Money Apps That Pay Cash Immediately guide.
How Does Pocket Money Work?
Pocket Money combines several types of activities into one app.
The most important appears to be its offer-based earning model.
The app promotes featured, popular, and high-earning offers, along with specific tasks and offer walls where users can discover other apps.
In practical terms, that means an advertiser or offer provider wants a user to perform a particular action. Depending on the offer, that could involve installing an app, registering, completing certain tasks, or reaching a particular milestone.
Pocket Money then gives the user a reward when the required activity is credited.
The exact requirements can vary from offer to offer.
That’s important because seeing a headline reward does not necessarily mean that you receive it simply for installing an app.
Always read the offer conditions before you start.
Ways to Earn on Pocket Money
1. Offers and Tasks
Offers are one of the main earning methods promoted by Pocket Money.
The app highlights Featured Offers, Popular Offers, and High-Earning Offers. It also has offer walls containing additional opportunities.
These offers can require different levels of effort.
A small task may take only a few minutes, while an app-install offer could require additional activity before the reward is released.
That makes it important to judge the entire offer, not just the headline reward.
2. Surveys
Pocket Money also offers surveys and other tasks.
Survey availability can vary considerably depending on your location and profile.
For comparison, our Legit Survey Sites That Pay Instantly via PayPal guide focuses specifically on survey platforms, qualification, payout methods, and withdrawal timing.
3. Pocket Videos
The app promotes Pocket Videos, which lets users watch trending or viral videos while earning rewards.
This is probably one of the easiest activities to understand.
But easy does not necessarily mean profitable.
The important question is how much you’re actually earning for the amount of time spent watching.
4. Games
Pocket Money includes a Tambola Game and other game-related earning opportunities.
Games can be appealing because they feel less like work.
However, some reward offers attached to games can require substantial time or progress before the advertised reward becomes available.
Again, check the complete conditions first.
5. Referrals
Pocket Money also allows users to earn by referring friends and family.
Referral earnings can be useful as an extra feature, but I wouldn’t judge the app based on referral potential alone.
The more important question is whether you can earn and withdraw reasonable rewards without depending on referrals.
Does Pocket Money Really Pay?
This is where the answer gets more nuanced.
There is clear evidence that Pocket Money is a real, established app.
It has been available on Google Play for years, has 10M+ downloads, and currently has hundreds of thousands of reviews. AppBrain also lists the app and currently reports version 8.2.3, with the same 10M+ Google Play download figure.
There is also evidence in the current public reviews that users can receive rewards.
For example, a June 30, 2026 Google Play reviewer said they completed an offer and received a ₹120 reward in their Pocket Money balance. However, the same reviewer said a UPI withdrawal failed with a transaction error.
Other recent reviews report different problems.
A July 31, 2026 reviewer said the app repeatedly asked them to update even though the Play Store showed the latest version, preventing UPI redemption.
A June 6, 2026 reviewer said an offer was completed but the promised reward was not received.
These are individual reports, not proof that most users experience the same thing.
But they are relevant when evaluating the practical reliability of the platform.
So I would not reduce the answer to simply “yes” or “no.”
There is evidence that users can earn rewards, but recent public reviews also show that reward crediting and withdrawals do not always go smoothly.
How Does Pocket Money Pay?
This is one area where the official Pocket Money website provides useful information.
It says users can redeem their earned rewards through an authorized payout partner, Cashfree, using a UPI ID.
That gives us a specific payout method rather than just a generic promise of “cash rewards.”
However, that does not guarantee that every withdrawal will be successful or immediate.
Recent Google Play reviews include complaints about failed UPI withdrawals and problems redeeming rewards. One reviewer said they had a ₹120 balance but received a transaction error when attempting to withdraw it. Another said an update-loop problem prevented UPI redemption.
So it’s important to distinguish between:
A reward being credited inside the app
and
The money successfully reaching your payment account.
Those are two different stages.
Does Pocket Money Pay Instantly?
Pocket Money’s Google Play description says users can start earning rewards instantly, while the official website describes reward redemption through Cashfree using UPI.
But I would not interpret that as a guarantee that every withdrawal arrives instantly.
An offer may need to be verified first.
A reward may need to be credited.
A redemption request may need to be processed.
And technical issues can interfere with the process.
Recent user reviews show why it’s better to treat instant earning and instant withdrawal as separate claims.
How Much Can You Earn With Pocket Money?
This is difficult to answer with a single figure.
Pocket Money doesn’t publish a universal hourly earning rate because the opportunities available to users can vary.
Your earnings can depend on:
- Which offers are available
- Which surveys you qualify for
- How much each activity pays
- How long the required activity takes
- Whether the reward is successfully credited
- Whether you can successfully redeem it
That means an online screenshot showing a large balance doesn’t tell you what the average user earns.
A better way to measure Pocket Money is by calculating your effective hourly rate:
Actual cash received ÷ total time spent = effective hourly rate
For example, if you spend two hours completing offers and ultimately withdraw ₹100, your result is ₹50 per hour.
That is much more meaningful than looking at the number of points or rewards displayed inside the app.
What About the 10 Million Users Claim?
This needs a little clarification.
Google Play currently shows 10M+ downloads. The app description itself says over 10 million users have availed rewards, and the official Pocket Money website says users can join more than 10 million people earning rewards.
Those are claims and metrics supplied by the platform or store listing, and they are not necessarily identical measures.
A download count is not the same thing as the number of active users.
Likewise, a historical user count does not mean all those people currently use the app.
So the safest wording is:
Pocket Money has more than 10 million Google Play downloads, while Pocket Money itself says over 10 million users have availed rewards.
That is more precise than simply saying “Pocket Money has 10 million active users.”
Pocket Money Privacy and Data Safety
Privacy is worth considering before installing any rewards app.
Google Play currently says Pocket Money may share personal information with third parties. It says the app may collect location, personal information, and four other data categories. Google Play also says data is encrypted in transit and that users can request deletion.
Google notes that Data Safety information is provided by developers and that practices can vary based on factors including use, region, and age.
Pocket Money also publishes its own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
The currently published policy is dated November 17, 2022 and says the service may collect information including:
- Mobile phone number and email
- Preferences and usage data
- Marketing preferences
- Installed apps and packages
- Device information, including Android ID and model
- Usage frequency
- Responses to offers and advertisements
- Customer-service information
- Location information
- Interaction methods and metadata
- Demographic information
- Information imported through social login
The policy also says Pocket Money uses advertising networks and analytics providers, including Firebase, and describes third-party services including Pollfish and Prodege.
That is a fairly broad range of information.
It doesn’t automatically mean you shouldn’t use the app, but it’s something worth understanding before signing up.
Read Pocket Money’s Terms of Use & Privacy Policy
Pocket Money Account Rules
Pocket Money’s published terms contain several rules that are particularly relevant to people using offer-based rewards.
The policy says users must complete OTP verification during signup.
It also states:
- Multi-number or emulator usage is prohibited.
- One user is limited to one account and one device.
- Rewards and offers can change without notice.
- Inactive accounts may forfeit earned amounts.
- Fraudulent activity can result in account termination.
- Uninstalling and reinstalling to earn the same reward again is prohibited.
These rules matter because offer-based rewards depend on tracking and attribution.
Trying to manipulate an offer can put the reward or the account at risk.
What Do Pocket Money Users Say?
The app’s large review count is notable.
Google Play currently shows approximately 368K reviews in the ratings section, alongside the 4.2-star rating displayed on the listing.
The recent feedback is mixed.
Some users report receiving rewards.
Others report:
- Missing offer rewards
- Failed withdrawals
- UPI redemption problems
- Technical bugs
- Customer-support issues
For instance, one June 30, 2026 review described receiving ₹120 after completing an offer but then being unable to withdraw the balance through UPI. A July 31 review described an update loop that prevented UPI redemption.
AppBrain’s indexed feedback also contains both positive and negative reports. Recent comments include users saying they received money as well as users complaining about withdrawals or missing rewards.
The key point is that these are individual user experiences.
They don’t tell us what percentage of Pocket Money users successfully cash out.
Is Pocket Money a Scam?
The available evidence doesn’t support simply labeling Pocket Money a scam.
There is a real and established Android application, a substantial Google Play presence, an official website, published terms and privacy information, and a clear rewards model.
At the same time, that does not mean every reward or withdrawal claim has been independently verified.
The strongest claims about earning and redemption come from Pocket Money itself.
The independent evidence we can see publicly is mainly user feedback, and that feedback is mixed.
So the more useful conclusion is:
Pocket Money is an established rewards app, but users should verify the actual reward and withdrawal experience for themselves rather than assuming every advertised offer will result in a successful cashout.
Pocket Money vs. Other Ways to Make Money Online
Pocket Money is one option in the larger beer-money and side-hustle space.
If you are mainly interested in reward apps, start with our Best Beer Money Apps That Pay Cash Immediately guide.
If surveys are more appealing, check our Legit Survey Sites That Pay Instantly via PayPal.
For smaller online jobs and tasks, see Best Instant Payout Micro Jobs & Apps for Gig Workers.
We’ve also covered another rewards platform in our BIGtoken Review, FAQs and Guide.
That is a useful comparison because BIGtoken uses a different model centered more heavily around data sharing and rewards.
What About Redbubble?
Not everyone wants to spend spare time completing offers, watching advertisements, or taking surveys.
There are also side hustles where you create something instead.
Redbubble uses a print-on-demand marketplace model. Artists upload designs, and those designs can appear on products sold through the platform.
That is very different from Pocket Money.
Pocket Money primarily monetizes your participation in offers, tasks, surveys, and other activities.
Redbubble requires you to create designs and potentially earn when customers purchase products featuring them.
Our Redbubble Review looks more closely at that model and the experiences surrounding it.
This comparison is useful because the best side hustle for you may depend on what you’re actually trying to monetize:
Your time, your skills, your creativity, or your existing online activity.
How to Test Pocket Money Without Wasting Your Time
If you decide to try Pocket Money, don’t start by spending hours chasing the biggest-looking offer.
Start small.
Choose an offer with clearly stated requirements.
Read all the conditions before starting.
Take screenshots when appropriate.
Complete the requirements exactly as stated.
Check whether the reward is credited.
Then test a small redemption.
Keep track of:
Time spent
Reward credited
Cash actually received
This lets you calculate your real return.
For example:
₹100 actually received ÷ 60 minutes = ₹100 per hour
That’s far more useful than saying you “earned 10,000 points.”
The same principle applies when you’re comparing Pocket Money with surveys, microtasks, focus groups, data entry, or gig work.
Never Pay Money to Unlock Supposed Earnings
There’s a broader warning worth remembering with any money-making platform.
The Federal Trade Commission warns about task scams, where people are shown supposed earnings for completing simple online activities and later told to deposit their own money to unlock more tasks or withdraw fake earnings. FTC: How to Spot and Avoid Task Scams
The FTC’s advice is simple:
Never pay money to get paid.
The agency also warns about side-hustle scams that promise large amounts of money for very little work or demand upfront payments. FTC: How to Avoid a Side Hustle Scam
Those warnings don’t mean Pocket Money is a task scam.
They’re simply good rules for evaluating unfamiliar earning opportunities.
If an app or person ever says you need to send money, buy cryptocurrency, pay a fee, or deposit funds to unlock money you supposedly already earned, stop before sending anything.
Pocket Money App Review: Real Earnings or Just Hype?
So, what should you make of Pocket Money?
Pocket Money: Rewards Everyday is a real and established rewards app, but its large user base does not guarantee that every offer will track correctly or every withdrawal will go through without problems.
Google Play currently shows 10M+ downloads and hundreds of thousands of reviews, while Pocket Money itself says more than 10 million users have availed rewards.
The app offers multiple ways to earn, including offers, tasks, surveys, videos, games, and referrals. Its official website specifically says rewards can be redeemed through Cashfree using a UPI ID.
There is public evidence of users receiving rewards, but recent reviews also report missing rewards, failed UPI withdrawals, technical problems, and customer-support issues. These are individual reports, so they shouldn’t be treated as proof that the same thing happens to most users.
The privacy policy is also worth reading because it describes collection of a relatively broad range of device, usage, demographic, location, and offer-related information.
So I wouldn’t treat Pocket Money as guaranteed income.
I’d treat it as an established rewards platform that is worth testing cautiously if the available offers make sense for your time and you are comfortable with the app’s data practices.
The most important test is not the number of points shown in the app.
It’s this:
How much actual cash can you withdraw compared with the time you spend earning it?
That’s the number that tells you whether Pocket Money is worth keeping on your phone.

Hi, I’m Ryan. I write and edit everything on this site, which means I’m the last set of eyes on every post before it goes live. By day I’m a technical architect. I design and build enterprise systems, apps, websites, and the occasional game.
This site started because I wanted one place where money advice for regular people doesn’t read like it was written by a finance robot. My goal is simple: every article should be genuinely useful, actually tested against what real people are searching for, and written in plain English. No jargon, no “get rich quick,” no advice I wouldn’t follow myself.
You’ll see a lot of topics here that lean on my engineering background: software reviews, tools, and tech-adjacent money stuff. Where a topic needs real financial expertise, I say so plainly and point you to qualified sources rather than pretending.
